Then, step into the Forbidden City—China’s grand Imperial Palace and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In just 2 hours, we will be diving into centuries of Chinese art, culture, and history! Then you can pick one option from the following choices for your afternoon activity!

  This is one of the four options you can pick for your afternoon tour: We will stroll through this UNESCO World Heritage Site, a stunning symbol of ancient Chinese architecture and spirituality. Explore the iconic Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests and the Echo Wall while soaking in the peaceful atmosphere of this imperial masterpiece. It’s a perfect blend of history, culture, and tranquility! We will return to the hotel at 4pm.

  Summer Palace (Yiheyuan)

  This is the 2nd option of the four activities you can pick for the afternoon tour: We will wander through the enchanting grounds of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, once the royal family’s retreat. Marvel at the stunning Kunming Lake, the iconic Long Corridor, and the majestic Longevity Hill. This is will be a perfect time to experience a mix of history, nature, and breathtaking views! We will return to the hotel at 4pm.

  This is the 3rd option for your afternoon tour: We will visit Beijing’s Yonghe Lama Temple, a magnificent fusion of Tibetan and Han Chinese architectural styles that radiates history and spirituality. As you step inside, you’ll be greeted by the soothing aroma of incense and the serene ambiance of this sacred site. The highlight is the awe-inspiring 26-meter-tall Maitreya Buddha statue, carved from a single piece of sandalwood—an extraordinary testament to craftsmanship and devotion. This iconic temple is not just a place of worship but a cultural gem, offering a window into Beijing’s rich spiritual and artistic heritage. We will return to the hotel at 4pm.

  This is the 4th option you can pick for your afternoon activity: We will start your journey with a visit to Jingshan Park, where you’ll climb to the summit for a breathtaking panoramic view of the Forbidden City and Beijing’s skyline—perfect for photos! Next, hop into a private rickshaw (tickets are included) for two and wind through the narrow alleys of Beijing’s historic hutongs. Discover traditional courtyard homes, learn about local life, and feel the heartbeat of the city’s past. Along the way, you’ll stop at a family-owned courtyard to experience authentic hospitality and stories of life in the hutongs. This tour offers a perfect blend of history, culture, and a touch of romance! We will return to the hotel at 4pm.
