What to expect

Welcome Orientation
We will briefly introduce the history of Kyoto and Japanese cuisine, as well as the origin and characteristics of decorative sushi rolls.

Basic Knowledge of Decorative Sushi Rolls
Learn about the basic ingredients and tools such as sushi rice, seaweed, and bamboo mats. We'll also cover how to choose colors and shapes, how to prepare sushi rice, and the Japanese philosophy of "cooking with all five senses."

Hands-On: Making Decorative Sushi Rolls
Create a design themed around peach blossoms. Learn techniques for combining ingredients, rolling, and crafting beautiful patterns.

We provide experiences in Japanese and English every day.
Additionally, sessions in Chinese (Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays) and Ukrainian/Russian (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays) are available.
French-speaking staff can also be arranged upon request, but prior confirmation is required.
