Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport, we will be warmly welcomed by a guide and transferred to the hotel in Ho Chi Minh City for check-in and relaxation. The rest of the day is free time.
Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a visit to the historic Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground network used during the Vietnam War. Discover ingenious traps, destroyed tanks, and bomb craters, and experience the thrill of exploring the tunnels or firing authentic weapons like the M-16.
In the afternoon, we will visit the Reunification Palace, the final stronghold to fall during the war. On April 30, 1975, tanks stormed the site, marking the end of the armed conflict.
The tour continues with a visit to Notre Dame Cathedral, a Catholic church built between 1877 and 1880 during the French colonial era. Next to Notre Dame Cathedral is the Central Post Office, designed by Gustave Eiffel.
After breakfast, transfer to Ben Tre (115 km – approximately 2 hours). Embark on a boat trip along the Mekong River, visiting a coconut factory and a traditional brick kiln. Explore a coconut processing complex and enjoy a relaxing cruise along the canals. Conclude with a tasting of local sweets at a coconut candy workshop.
Cruise through the palm-lined canals to Nhon Thanh Village, where you will discover local handicrafts and enjoy tea, rice cakes, and seasonal fruits in a traditional house. Explore the village’s daily activities on a motorized 'Xe Lôi', followed by lunch at a local restaurant and a relaxing rowboat trip through the canals.
Finally, we will visit Ben Tre Market for some shopping before returning to Ho Chi Minh City by car.
Breakfast at the hotel. Then, transfer to the airport to Da Nang. Upon arrival in Da Nang, meet the driver for a transfer to the hotel in Hoi An for check-in.
Today, we will take a full-day tour of Hoi An, a charming historical town and former trading port. Visit the Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, built in the 17th century by Chinese sailors in honor of Thien Hau, the Goddess of the Sea and protector of seafarers.
Explore the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge, with 400 years of history, the Ancient House of Tan Ky, a 200-year-old merchant residence that blends Vietnamese, Chinese, and Japanese architectural styles, and the Sa Huynh Museum, which unveils the rich history of Hoi An.
In the afternoon, enjoy free time to relax on the beach, stroll through the vibrant central market, or go shopping.
At 8:00 AM, a local guide will pick you up at the hotel. Cycle to Hoi An Central Market, where you can interact with local vendors and learn about the ingredients for your cooking class. Don't forget your camera to capture the moment!
At 10:00 AM, cycle to Tra Que Herb Village, where you will be welcomed with a refreshing drink. Explore the vegetable gardens and observe local farmers working with centuries-old traditional methods, without the use of electric machines.
At 11:00 AM, take part in a hands-on cooking class with the chef, learning to prepare traditional Vietnamese dishes. After the class, enjoy the delicious meal you have created.
In the afternoon, return to Hoi An, and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to explore the city.
After breakfast, the driver will be waiting for you in the hotel lobby, and you will begin the scenic drive from Hoi An to Hue.
On the way, we will stop at the stunning Lang Co Beach, known for its white sand, crystal-clear waters, and the majestic backdrop of the mountains. This is the perfect spot to relax, swim, and take in the local culture and natural beauty.
After relaxing at Lang Co Beach, we continue to Hue, a city rich in history and culture. Upon arrival, enjoy free time to rest or explore its fascinating historical sites and unique atmosphere.
After breakfast, we will visit the fascinating Imperial City of Hue, inspired by Beijing’s Forbidden City. Crossing the Ngo Mon Gate, we will enter the Purple Forbidden City, the former residence of the Nguyen royal family. Though partially damaged by the 1968 bombings, it still retains its historical grandeur.
In the afternoon, we will visit the charming Thien Mu Pagoda, located at the confluence of the rivers, offering a breathtaking view of the Perfume River and its scenic surroundings.
Our next stop will be the Tomb of Khai Dinh, an impressive fusion of Western and Eastern architectural styles, reflecting the uniqueness and grandeur of the Vietnamese imperial era.
If time permits, we will visit Dong Ba Market.
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Hue Airport for the flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival in Hanoi, meet the driver for a transfer to the hotel for check-in.
After breakfast at the hotel, we will head to the Hanoi Opera House for an exterior visit. Then, enjoy a leisurely walk through the heart of the city, visiting Hoan Kiem Lake and the Ngoc Son Temple.
You will complete the exploration of Hanoi’s Old Quarter with a delicious cup of egg coffee, a local specialty. Afterward, visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, built in 1070. Its well-preserved gardens and architecture offer an authentic glimpse into Vietnam’s past.
Next, we will visit the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, one of Hanoi’s most fascinating museums, showcasing a diverse collection of artifacts from Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups, including traditional costumes, tools, musical instruments, and beautifully crafted ethnic houses. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, we will visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, where Ho Chi Minh lived from 1954 to 1969. Within the same complex, you will also see the One Pillar Pagoda, an important symbol of Hanoi. To conclude the day, we will head to West Lake and Truc Bach Lake - also known as White Silk Lake - which are separated by the scenic Thanh Nien Street (Youth Street).
At the end of Thanh Nien Street, we will visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, a 1,440-year-old Buddhist structure and the oldest pagoda in Vietnam. Here, you will have the opportunity to offer a prayer and receive blessings from the Buddhas.
At the end of the day, enjoy a traditional water puppet show at the theater, a unique Vietnamese art form that brings folklore and legends to life. After the show, take a "xich lo" (cyclo) ride to explore the Old Quarter, passing by Hoan Kiem Lake, considered the heart of the capital, and the ancient streets, whose names reflect their traditional crafts and trades.
Breakfast at the hotel, then depart at 8:00 AM for Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Dai Co Viet. Visit the temples dedicated to King Dinh Tien Hoang and King Le Dai Hanh, where you can learn about Vietnam’s rich imperial history.
Next, we head to Trang An, where a two-hour boat ride will take you through Vietnam’s first UNESCO Mixed Heritage Site, showcasing stunning landscapes of limestone karsts and serene waterways. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.
Afterward, we continue to Bich Dong Pagoda, where we will explore three ancient pagodas dating back to the 17th century. Later, we will visit the local market to observe daily life in the rural areas of Northern Vietnam.
Breakfast at the hotel. Then, transfer to Halong Bay in a shared shuttle provided by the cruise.
Upon boarding the cruise, enjoy a welcome drink as the captain introduces the itinerary and safety guidelines. Savor a delicious lunch while the boat sails toward Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay. In the afternoon, take part in the scheduled excursions organized by the cruise.
On the sundeck, join the "Master Chef Competition" and a fruit carving demonstration. Take in the breathtaking sunset over Halong Bay as the boat anchors for the night.
Enjoy dinner on board as the cruise manager presents the itinerary for the following day. After dinner, relax in your cabin or join the crew for an exciting squid fishing experience.
Start the day with a Tai Chi session and morning coffee on the sundeck. After breakfast, enjoy onboard activities or simply relax while admiring the breathtaking scenery. Conclude the cruise with a brunch before disembarking and transferring back to Hanoi.
After returning to Hanoi, enjoy free time before the transfer to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival in Siem Reap, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to the hotel for check-in (early check-in before 2:00 PM is not included). Spend the rest of the day at leisure to relax at your own pace.
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, visit Angkor Thom, including the South Gate, Bayon Temple, Phimeanakas, the Terrace of the Elephants, and the Terrace of the Leper King. Then, explore Ta Prohm, famous for its mystical atmosphere and untouched ruins, where ancient trees intertwine with the temple's stone structures.
In the afternoon, visit Angkor Wat, the most famous temple of Angkor, spanning 81 hectares and featuring its iconic five towers. This 12th-century masterpiece is a landmark of Khmer art and architecture.
Enjoy the sunset at Bakheng Hill, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Angkor Wat and the surrounding landscape. End the day with dinner and a traditional Khmer dance performance at a local restaurant.
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Banteay Samre, a 12th-century temple known for its tranquil atmosphere and well-preserved carvings. Next, explore Banteay Srei, the "Citadel of Women," renowned for its pink sandstone and exquisitely detailed carvings, considered a true jewel of Khmer art.
On the way back, visit Preah Dak Village to observe local life and the production of handicrafts, palm sugar, and seasonal fruits. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat trip on Tonle Sap Lake, exploring Kampong Phluk, a floating village where schools, police stations, and houses are built on stilts, adapting to the changing water levels.
Breakfast at the hotel, followed by free time to relax or explore at your leisure. Later, transfer to Siem Reap Airport for your departure flight.
