Step onto the same Estafeta Street, close to the balcony where Hemingway once watched the lockdown. From this balcony vantage point, experience every second of Pamplona's legendary Running of the Bulls — hooves on cobblestone, the roar of the crowd, white and red rushing past meters below you.
Your morning starts at 6 : 50 AM with Esteban, your local host and lifelong San Fermin enthusiast. Over a traditional Navarra breakfast — coffe, artisan pastries, and regional produce — they’ll brief you on today’s bull breed, the runners’ tactics, and the unwritten rules only locals know.
At 8:00 AM, the rocket fires. The bulls charge down Estafeta — the longest stretch of the course — while Esteban an Martin commentates live. After the run, stay for a celebratory toast as you relive the highlights with your group.
This is’t a seat in the stands. It’s the closest you’ll get to the encierro without running it yourself.

Meet your hosts Martin and Esteban at the main entrance of Hotel La Perla at 6 : 50 AM sharp. This historic hotel hosted Ernest Hemingway during San Fermin. Look for us wearing a blue sweater and red scarf. Please be on time—streets close early and balcony access is restricted before the lockdown.
Meeting Point Meet Esteban and Martin in front of Hotel La Perla on Plaza del Castillo — the iconic hotel close to where Ernest Hemingway stayed during his visits to San Fermin. From here, we will walk you through the quiet early-morning streets of the Old Town to the balcony, setting the scene for what you’re about to witness.
Arrival at the Balcony Welcome to your private balcony overlooking the heart of the encierro route. As you settle in with your Navarra breakfast — hot coffe, freshly baked pastries, juice, and local produce — Martin and Esteban begin the pre-lockdown briefing. From your balcony, you'll see the runners positioning themselves, the crowd's energy exploding, and the herd thundering past just meters below. Martin and Esteban provides live commentary — pointing out key moments, explaining what’s happening in real time, and helping you catch every detail of this 2 - to - 4 - minute spectacle.
Post-lockdown Debrief The bulls have passed, but the experience isn't over. Share a celebratory toast with your fellow guests as you watch the TV replay together and relive the highlights. Martín and Esteban answers your questions, shares his personal stories from years of San Fermín, and offers insider recommendations for the rest of your day in Pamplona — the best pintxo bars, the afternoon bullfight, and the hidden corners of the festival most tourists never find.
