Finally, we will visit Blausee, one of Switzerland's most famous mountain lakes. Known for its unique, vivid color and crystal-clear water sourced from underground springs, Blausee is situated within a 20-hectare nature park. This scenic location was shaped by a rock slide that formed the lake. The lake and its surrounding forest have enchanted locals and visitors alike for centuries. In 1885, Blausee was described in a travel guide as a "jewel of a landscape immersed in magical forest solitude." Today, the area is easily accessible with walking paths, picnic spots, and bonfire areas. A hotel with a spa is located directly on the shore, and there is a successful organic trout farm nearby.
