Whale Shark Encounters

This activity is led by a trained and certified guide dedicated to providing the best experience possible. We’ll meet at the marina and board your boat before heading to the designated visual inspection point. Once the inspection is complete, we’ll continue toward the area where these gentle giants can be found.

During the journey, your guide will share important information about whale sharks, as well as essential rules and tips to ensure we enjoy the activity in the safest and most responsible way—protecting both our guests and these incredible animals.

Important Information
There are 14 boat spaces available per time slot, with four daily time slots:
7:00 a.m.
9:00 a.m.
12:00 p.m.
2:00 p.m.

We request access to the 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. time slots from the government agency protecting whale sharks at 3:00 p.m. the day before. Spaces are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

If we are unable to secure a morning slot, we request one of the afternoon slots at 7:00 a.m. on the same day.

We will contact you as soon as we know which time slot has been assigned to us.

Please plan your day accordingly and allow enough flexibility in your schedule for the experience.
