    In the way from Fez to chefchaouen you can take the country road and visit the reservoir -Sed El CHAHED-. Great view and landscape, in the background the bare mountain range with wonderful colors (copper, iron , etc..). Well worth seeing.

    chefchaouen or what was originally known as chaouen, meaning : Peaks, is split into an eastern half "The Medina", and a western half "The Ciudad Nueva-or new city-. Beautiful sited beneath the raw peaks of the Rif, is one of the prettiest town in Morocco, an artsy, blue washed mountain village that feel like its own world. Best places you can visit : -Plaza Uta El-Hammam . -The Kasbah. -The adjacent Grand Mosque. -Art Gallery.
