The driver/guide will be waiting in the hotel lobby or in front of the main entrance at the scheduled time. He will be holding a sign with the company name or the traveler’s name, making it easy to recognize him.
We stop in Taliouine, known as the "Capital of Saffron." You will visit a local cooperative to learn how the expensive "Red Gold" spice is harvested and enjoy a glass of saffron tea.
Famous for its handmade Berber carpets. We stop here for a traditional Moroccan lunch and to see the intricate designs woven by local women.
The adventure begins! We leave the paved roads and drive off-road (piste) across the dried-up salt lake of Iriqui. It’s a thrilling 4x4 experience with stunning flat landscapes before the dunes appear.
Arrival at the massive Erg Chegaga dunes (300m high). You will switch from the 4x4 to camels for a sunset trek into the dunes. The day ends at a luxury desert camp with dinner under the stars and live Berber music.
Visit this historic village known for its unique green pottery workshops (you can see how they make it) and the ancient Zaouia Naciria Library, home to manuscripts from the 11th century.
We drive through the longest river valley in Morocco. It is a lush green belt of millions of palm trees contrasting with the dry mountains. We will make several stops for panoramic photos.
Located in the center of Ouarzazate, this is a magnificent example of clay architecture. You can explore the exterior and take photos, or enter to see the maze of rooms (entry fee is small, usually paid on spot).
(Optional Stop) Known as the "Hollywood of Africa." If you wish, you can enter to see the sets of movies like The Mummy, Kingdom of Heaven, and Asterix & Obelix.
The highlight of the day. A guided walking tour of this UNESCO World Heritage site. It is a striking fortified village (Ksar) made of clay, famous for being the backdrop of Gladiator and Game of Thrones.
On the return drive to Agadir, we cross the Anti-Atlas mountains via the Tizi n'Tinififft pass, offering dramatic lunar landscapes and canyon views.
