Club Joy, alongside our artisan, welcomes you into an authentic letterpress workshop for a journey into the heart of Venetian craftsmanship.

Using original materials and ancient techniques, you will create something of your own using manual presses and wooden type, just like the master printers of the past.

It is an authentic experience away from the tourist crowds, leaving you with a memory printed on paper, and in your heart.

What to expect

Choose your quote, compose the words using original wooden type, and prepare for printing with a manual press. You will apply the ink, adjust the pressure, and watch your work take shape on premium Fabriano Rosaspina paper.
During the experience, you will discover the history of letterpress printing and the traditional techniques handed down by master craftsmen. At the end, you will take home unique prints created by you: concrete poetry to be experienced slowly, amidst the scent of wood and ink.
