Discover the art of Venetian oaring with a master craftsman

30 minutes (approximately)

This workshop is not a standard tour: it is an authentic immersion in a millennial craft, the work of the remer, a craftsman specialized in the construction of oars and forks for Venetian rowing. In very few workshops in Venice this artisan process is still carried out handed down for generations. You learn not only to observe, but to perceive the choices of wood, the curves of the fork, the secret of form. You take home a reasoned knowledge of a rare art, a vivid memory and a new perspective on the Venice lagoon. Club Joy, the home of craftsmen.
