What to expect

You will be picked up from your accommodation in Levi and enjoy a scenic 25-minute drive to a traditional Finnish cottage located by a peaceful river in the wilderness. Upon arrival, you’ll experience a warm and relaxing sauna, guided by your host who will teach you about Finnish sauna traditions and other classic rituals.
After the sauna, depending on the season, you can refresh yourself in the river, roll in the snow, or take an invigorating ice plunge. Your guide will ensure safety and instruct you on how to enter the river properly.

Following the sauna, you’ll enjoy a three-course meal inspired by traditional Finnish cuisine, prepared by an experienced Finnish chef who has worked for years in renowned restaurants. The menu includes a classic Finnish starter, a main course highlighting seasonal local flavors, and a dessert featuring authentic Finnish ingredients. The menu may vary depending on seasonal availability, ensuring a unique experience each time.

Throughout the evening, your guide will share insights about Finnish culture, traditions, and sauna practices. There is also a good chance to see the Northern Lights if conditions are favorable.
