A perfect way to experience all of the 'must see' sights of Paris in one day on this exclusive private tour. First, we will take a stroll through the heart of the city as you learn about two thousand years of history. Take in the best views of the Eiffel Tower before exploring the historic Latin Quarter and walking in the footsteps of Hemingway and having lunch on an iconic street. Don't worry, we will not walk the whole way. The Metro will fill in the gaps on the route and we will stop three times for refreshments. We will finish the tour in beautiful Montmartre with breathtaking views over Paris.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
We will meet at the statue of Charlemagne (the green equestrian statue) in the square in font of Notre-Dame cathedral. Look out for the white Walkabout Paris umbrella. Your guide will be standing beside the Charlemagne statue.
The tour will finish outside of Abbesses Metro station in Montmartre. You will be supplied with a Metro ticket to get you back to the city centre.

1Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Paris
As part of the first of four walking tours, we will explore the Île de la Cité- starting from the magnificent Notre-Dame cathedral. Learn about Paris through the middle ages on the early part of the tour.

2Sainte-Chapelle
Pass by the chapel of Saint-Chapelle and learn about its saintly founder and the treasures that it contained as part of the first walking tour.

3Pont Neuf
From this spectacular vantage point, we get an insight into the geography and early history of Paris through to one of France's most famous kings. On route, we will stop close to here for a morning coffee and croissant.

4Louvre Museum
We will explore the courtyards of the Louvre complex and discover some hidden gems- evidence and stories of the kings and emperors that left their mark on Paris.

5Jardin des Tuileries
We will finish the first of our tours inside the eastern side of the Tuileries Gardens- one of the most famous in Paris. From here we will catch the Metro to the Trocadero.

6Trocadero
The Trocadero offers arguably the clearest view of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Spend time taking photos as we walk down to the tower.

7Eiffel Tower
You will learn about the history of the tower and get some excellent photo opportunities at various points around it's base.

8Quartier Latin
From Place Saint-Michel we will explore the historic Latin Quarter. Learn about the birth of Christianity in Paris at one of it's oldest churches and catch a glimpse of Roman evidence as we wind through this atmospheric neighbourhood.

9Pantheon
The Latin Quarter tour finishes outside of the magnificent Pantheon. From here we will take a short walk to an atmospheric area that provides an array of options for lunch.

10Montmartre
The final tour of the day takes us around the beautiful neighbourhood of Montmartre. Explore the winding streets, artists stalls and vineyard whist hearing stories of Montmartre's famous inhabitants and events.

11Basilique du Sacre-Coeur de Montmartre
Towards the end of the tour, you will pass the controversial Sacre-Coeur Basilica. Learn about it's history whilst finishing the day with some of the best panoramic views in the city. We will take in a drink of your choice from one of the many bars in Montmartre before finishing at the Metro station will access back to the city centre.
