We invite you to visit the Explorers Glacier, a must-see destination in Patagonia, along with a certified hiking/trekking guide with years of experience. We will walk along the side trail that borders the glacier to its viewpoints. In the tour we will perform interpretation of the landscape and talk geological where you will learn much about the area you visit. We also include transportation from your accommodation, entrance tickets to the park and box lunch with fresh and appetizing products to keep you energized during the day. You don’t have to worry about anything, just carrying the motivation to spend an excellent day in nature!

It invites you to visit the "Explorers Glacier" which you will know through a side trail that borders the glacier inside the native forest to the viewpoints, where you can have a panoramic and close view of it. You start from your stay in Puerto Rio Tranquilo to drive for 52 km through the valley to the entrance of Laguna San Rafael National Park Exploradores sector (1 hour and 20 minutes approx), where you will begin the walk to the glacial viewpoints. The tour lasts approximately 3 hours and a half depending on the pace of the walk (round trip).

Details of the hike "Hiking Viewpoints Glacier Explorers" : - Distance: 6 km (round trip) - Slope : 108 meters / minimum altitude 155 m. – maximum altitude 263 m. - Difficulty: Medium - Duration: 3 hours and a half approximately. When you arrive at the viewpoints you will have privileged views of the glacier and can distinguish its lagoons and crevasses. In addition to seeing the mountains "Silver Cordon" and "Mount Valentine". Bring : Trekking or sportswear, water bottle, sunscreen, hat and sunglasses, buff.

After finishing the trail is returned by vehicle, along the way it is possible to have beautiful views of lakes, mountain glaciers and waterfalls, where we will stop at the last stop, “Cascada La Nutria” to take photographs and begin the return to the village.
