1Marrakech
We will begin our first day of the 5-day tour from Marrakech to Merzouga by crossing the Atlas Mountains, passing through the Tizi n'Tichka pass, and stopping to take photos and enjoy the stunning panoramic views. We will also visit an argan oil producer cooperative to learn about the extraction process and its uses.

2Tizi n Tichka
We will visit the fortified city of Ait Ben Haddou and its famous Kasbah (declared a UNESCO World Heritage site). This location is recognized for being the filming site of scenes from movies such as "Gladiator," "The Jewel of the Nile," and the series "Game of Thrones." After lunch in the city, we will continue our journey to Ouarzazate, known as the "gateway to the desert." We will then pass through the Rose Valley, through the vast Skoura palm grove and Boumalne. Dinner will be served at the hotel in the Dades Valley.

3Dades Gorges
In the morning, after breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Merzouga, crossing the Todra Gorges. We will stop for lunch and continue our journey towards the desert. Upon arrival, we will admire the impressive dunes of Merzouga, where we will enjoy a welcome tea and begin to experience the hospitality of the desert people.

4Merzouga
When we arrive at the hotel, which is the gateway to the desert, we will leave our luggage and take only what is necessary for the overnight stay in the desert. There, we will meet the camels that will take us to the camp. We will have the opportunity to watch the sunset, and with a traditional dinner and typical music, we will spend the third night of our 5-day tour from Marrakech to Merzouga.

5Merzouga
It’s important to wake up early to admire the beautiful sunrise in the middle of the desert. There will be free time for breakfast. Then, we’ll return to Merzouga on camelback, where the driver will be waiting for us. We will spend the day exploring the Merzouga region. The area offers many incredible sites, including dunes, wild lakes, mines, fossilized areas, and fairy-tale oases. These are ideal locations for numerous outdoor activities.

6Khamlia
We begin our journey in Merzouga with a visit to an ancient eyeliner mine. Next, we visit the nomads in their handwoven tents, where we learn about their way of life over a glass of Berber tea. Our next destination is the village of Khamlia, where we can enjoy the music and dance of the Gnaouas. The residents come from countries south of the Sahara, such as Mali, Sudan, and Niger. There will be free time for lunch at a restaurant. Afterwards, we take a walk through a palm grove. We continue for a few kilometers to the wild oasis of Hassi Labiad, where we will have dinner and overnight at a hotel/riad.

7Merzouga
We will wake up before sunrise to witness it, then begin our fourth day of the 5-day tour from Marrakech to the Merzouga Desert by heading back to Ouarzazate, crossing the fascinating landscapes of the Draa Valley.

We will cross the Anti-Atlas Mountains to reach Ouarzazate, where we will spend the night at a hotel/riad.

9Ouarzazate
After breakfast, we will leave the hotel/riad and head towards the Taourirt Kasbah and the studios that have made the city of Ouarzazate so famous. After visiting these incredible sites, we will return to Marrakech, crossing the landscapes of the High Atlas Mountains. We will make several stops along the way, including a visit to the Telouet Kasbah.

One of the oldest Kasbahs in the High Atlas; after visiting this ancient kasbah, we will continue our journey through the Tizi N’tichka pass and stop for lunch before reaching the Red City. After this delicious local lunch, we will resume our return journey to Marrakech. This will mark the end of our 5-day tour from Marrakech to Merzouga.
