4. Golden Triangle Viewpoint & Big Buddha's Statue Stand at the world-famous Golden Triangle, where Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar meet. Learn about the area’s intriguing history with the opium trade and enjoy panoramic views over the Mekong River and surrounding countries and will see the great giant Buddha beside Mekong River, also the symboric sign of the Golden Triangle. Take a relaxing boat ride along the mighty Mekong River. Enjoy the beautiful scenery as you float between borders. Along the way, you'll witness the charming riverside landscapes of each country. The boat will travel approximately 5-6 kilometers or 30 min.
