What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Meet your guide outside Starbucks, directly opposite the British Museum on Great Russell Street. Your guide will be waiting outside the café. Please arrive 10 minutes before the tour begins to allow time for introductions and entry to the museum.
The tour ends in the British Museum's Parthenon Galleries, where you can continue exploring the museum independently. Your guide can give directions back to the Great Court and museum exits if required.

Highlights may include the Rosetta Stone, Egyptian mummies, Sutton Hoo, the Royal Game of Ur, Oxus Treasure and sculptures of Ramesses II — as well as stranger objects, from a Tudor heart and mysterious mermaid to the Waddesdon Bequest. Discover what these objects meant to those who made and used them, and how they came to be in the British Museum, before finishing among the Nereid Monument and Parthenon Sculptures. Objects and route may vary.
