Private day hike in the High Andes to 3,650 m (~12,000 ft). — epic views of the Andes and Lake Potrerillos.
Small private groups (max 6) — personal, flexible, unhurried.
Moderate challenge: not technical; the difficulty comes from the high altitude (up to 3,650 m / ~12,000 ft). Plan about 5–7 hours round trip, including short breaks, photo stops, and a steady pace at high altitude.
Prefer something lighter? Choose the 3,400 m (≈11,150 ft) route — shorter and gentler, ~4 hours total, with stunning viewpoints.

Pickup is directly from your hotel in Mendoza city. The exact time (usually 8:00 AM, sometimes 9:00-10:00 AM depending on the weather) will be confirmed with you in chat or via WhatsApp a few days before the tour. The drive to the starting point of the hike takes about 2 hours.
We start our adventure at Parque Provincial Cordón del Plata, a protected natural reserve located about 80 km from Mendoza. Upon arrival, we register in the safety logbook with the park rangers, then park the vehicle and get ready for the hike. From here, the trail begins to ascend into the high Andes, surrounded by breathtaking valleys and snowy peaks (not in summer). The hike usually takes around 6–7 hours round trip, depending on group pace and weather conditions. It’s a moderate to challenging trek, rewarding you with the feeling of standing “above the clouds” and breathtaking views along the way.
