Not Your Typical Osaka Tour — Hidden Art Galleries & Local Lunch

Osaka, Japan

2 to 4 hours (approximately)
Offered in: English

Osaka has a thriving art scene that almost no tourist ever sees. On this private tour, I take you inside independent galleries tucked into backstreets and forgotten buildings — and introduce you to the artists making work there today. This is the Osaka that locals actually care about.
Depending on what's showing and what interests you, we visit three to five galleries from a circuit I know well — indie venues that don't appear in guidebooks, set in buildings with their own story. Wherever possible, I introduce you to the people behind the work.
We finish with lunch at a local spot I've personally chosen — you pay separately, but the recommendation is part of the tour.Vegan and vegetarian options available.
This tour works best for people who are already curious about art, design, or Japanese creative culture — and who'd rather have a real conversation than follow a flag through a crowd. Groups of 2–6 only, always private.
