Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, Extra Passion Safaris guide will pick you up and drive you to Tarangire National Park, about two and a half hours away on good roads. Named after the Tarangire River, the park is a crucial water source during the dry season, attracting diverse wildlife. Famous for its large elephant herds, Tarangire also hosts giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species, often shadowed by predators like lions and leopards. Bird lovers will be amazed by the park’s record number of breeding bird species. The iconic baobab trees, some over a thousand years old, dominate the landscape, adding to its charm. Lunch will be a picnic within the park, allowing you to soak in the sights and sounds of nature. After a thrilling day of wildlife viewing, you’ll head to your nearby accommodation to rest and prepare for the next adventure.

Day 3
Karatu to Central Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we set off for Serengeti National Park, a drive of approximately 6 hours, including breaks along the way. As we pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, we’ll stop briefly at the crater viewpoint to take in its breathtaking scenery. For those interested, there’s an optional visit to a Maasai village, where you can learn about their fascinating traditions and lifestyle (additional cost applies). Reaching the iconic Serengeti by late afternoon, you’ll embark on an exciting game drive in the Seronera region, known for its abundant wildlife and year-round predator activity. The golden hues of the Serengeti sunset will make the experience unforgettable, painting the vast plains as animals prepare for the evening. If fortunate, we might witness a predator stalking its prey—a truly thrilling moment. After the game drive, we’ll arrive at your camp in the Serengeti, where you can unwind under the starlit skies and reflect on the wonders of the day.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you’ll leave the Serengeti and journey toward the Ngorongoro Crater. The scenic drive may reveal more wildlife, adding to the adventure. The Ngorongoro Crater is a stunning natural caldera, formed millions of years ago. Within its steep walls lies a rich ecosystem of savannah, swamps, and shimmering lakes. The crater is teeming with wildlife, including zebras, wildebeests, and over 500 bird species. It’s also one of the best spots to see the rare black rhino in its natural habitat. After exploring the crater, you’ll head to your accommodation in Karatu for the evening.

Karatu To Kilimajaro International Airport
