Hi everyone, I’m Jonny
I started running my own wine tours because I wanted to avoid tourist traps and show the Douro Valley the way it should be experienced — local, authentic, and unhurried.
On this tour, we visit local wineries where you can meet the people behind the wine and understand what makes the Douro so special.
It’s not about rushing from stop to stop, it’s about enjoying good wine, good food, and the landscape at a relaxed pace.
We’ll explore one beautiful town, visit a respected winery, enjoy a relaxed boat ride on the Douro River, and sit down for a traditional lunch.
There’s time for photos, questions, and simply taking it all in.
I keep the day informative but easygoing — you’ll learn about the region, the wines, and the culture, with a few good jokes along the way.
