Your adventure begins with a scenic drive through lush landscapes leading to the Materuni village, located at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. From there, enjoy a refreshing hike through stunning greenery toward the Materuni Waterfall. Along the way, you’ll be surrounded by breath-taking views, vibrant flora, and perhaps even spot some colourful chameleons. Upon reaching the waterfall, marvel at its majestic beauty and, on clear days, catch a glimpse of Mount Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped peak in the distance.

Next, stroll to a charming village near Materuni and visit a local coffee farm to experience the fascinating process of coffee production. Learn how coffee is grown, harvested, and processed, then try your hand at roasting and grinding raw beans. You’ll also prepare and enjoy a fresh cup of locally-grown coffee. To complete the experience, savour a delicious traditional Tanzanian lunch, freshly prepared and included in your visit, offering a true taste of local culture.

After your time at Materuni, we’ll drive to the warm water springs, a hidden gem and one of the best spots for swimming in the region. Surrounded by lush greenery and stunning scenery, it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. Keep an eye out for playful monkeys that might make an appearance! After enjoying the springs, we’ll take a scenic drive back to your hotel, marking the end of an unforgettable day filled with adventure, culture, and relaxation.
