What to expect

Questing tours are self-guided, riddle-based walking adventures that invite you to experience New York City in a completely new way. Using your smartphone, you’ll receive a series of clever clues and riddles that guide you through iconic neighborhoods and hidden corners of the city. Each puzzle connects to a real landmark, sign, or piece of local history, blending exploration with problem-solving as you “read, seek, solve, and answer” your way through the route. Most quests take about one to two hours to complete and are designed for small teams of one to four participants, allowing you to explore at your own pace and schedule. If you get stuck, you can request up to three hints to keep your adventure moving. Many tours begin at a local coffee shop and finish at a cozy neighborhood spot, giving you the perfect place to celebrate your success. Optional side quests add an extra layer of challenge for those who want to dig deeper, and there are even kid-friendly “Mini Quests” designed for families with children ages seven to eleven. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a lifelong New Yorker, Questing turns every neighborhood into a game board of discovery, curiosity, and fun.
