What to expect
Get picked up at your hotel or accommodation and get ready to experience one of the best ways to see Monteverde’s wildlife, and see the animals at night, when many unique species of Costa Rica are most active. The excursion begins at sunset, when the animals are most active, as daytime species are looking for places to sleep and nighttime animals are starting their day.
Take advantage of the opportunity to see many more species than would be possible with a day trip, and enjoy a unique perspective of the forest, where guides will help you see the largest number of species on the tour.
You will find various species in their natural habitats, such as coati, hammers, porcupines, gray foxes, tarantulas, frogs, some insect species.
