From open grasslands to river estuaries and coastal lagoons, Thiruvallur District offers a rich mosaic of habitats, hosting a wide variety of bird species and providing exceptional settings to refine your recording skills in real-world conditions.

Beyond field recording, the workshop also offers a valuable introduction to analyzing bird sounds, helping you understand, interpret, and review your recordings with greater confidence.

Both beginners and experienced sound recordists are welcome, with instruction tailored to support learning and growth at every skill level.
