Dancing with beautiful Thai songs, learning their meaning, moving hands and footstep to them, and photo-taking are combined in the activity. The place is easy to get to as it is next to MRT station (Sri Thepha). Receive Thai costume to change for free before the start or dance with your own dress. Professional teachers/dancers will lead several styles of Thai dancing. Great for solo, couple and family travelers looking for an activity with fun, knowledge, and cultural experience while in Bangkok.

By MRT: Take or connect to the yellow line, get off at Sri Thepha station, walk out Exit 3 to Dee Village next to the station. Look for Sri Thepa Vocational and Dance School. By car or taxi: Go to Dee Village, next to Sri Thepha MRT station, across PTT petrol station. Parking is available.

What to expect

Arriving at the school 15 minutes before the start. Upon arrival, contact the receptionist and you will receive Thai costume to change （This is optional). The class will start with the teacher (dancer) introducing Thai dance basics for you to copy. Popular Thai songs will be used with brief translation so you can understand more of the culture from the songs. The teacher will teach several styles of Thai dance both slow and fast, so it's a good chance to exercise and have a leisure time with the gain of cultural knowledge as well. At the end, we will take photo together.
