What's Included
Meeting and pickup
For a less crowded experience, it is recommended to take the East Gate for entering the Taj Complex. However, if you are staying near the city center or prefer historical significance, the West Gate might be more suitable. In either case, make sure to pre-purchase tickets online.
The tour concludes at the Taj marble platform behind the main mausoleum, with stunning views of the Yamuna river and Mehtab Bagh. Visitors are welcome to continue exploring the main mosque, the Jawab and the Taj Museum at their own pace.

The walking tour begins at the Jilaukhana, or forecourt, accessible from both the East and West gates. Here, we take in the grandeur of the Great Gate and debunk the myth that Emperor Shah Jahan ordered the artisans’ hands cut off after the Taj’s completion.

The journey continues into the Charbagh, or Paradise Gardens, where we explore the philosophical significance of its symmetrical design, the fountains, and the drum houses—one of which has been converted into a museum.

3Taj Mahal
The tour continues toward the main mausoleum, highlighting key design elements—the Makrana marble adorned with Parchinkari inlay work, the leaning minarets, and the riverbed foundations. After exploring the inner sanctum, visitors are guided to face the Yamuna River, where the tour concludes with a story about the challenges the Taj Mahal faces today.
