Downtown Coyoacan is a place full of history, culture and a bohemian atmosphere that makes it unique in Mexico City. Its squares and gardens offer an ideal space for walks, surrounded by fountains, street artists and a relaxed atmosphere. Among its main attractions is the Blue House, the museum where Frida Kahlo lived, as well as the National Museum of Popular Cultures, which holds exhibitions on Mexican traditions. The Coyoacán Market is a must to try typical cravings such as quesadillas, churros and elotes, as well as find crafts and souvenirs.
