Unlike rigid group excursions, this tour is flexible and unhurried, allowing you to enjoy each stop at your own pace. It’s designed for small groups, so you’ll have a more intimate experience with plenty of time to ask questions, take photos, and fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere. A highlight of the day is a delicious lunch at the seaside Chernomorka restaurant, included in the tour — a perfect moment to taste Odessa’s flavors while enjoying views of the Black Sea. With no strict schedule and a friendly guide, you’ll feel more like a guest than a tourist.
Pick up point is the traveler hotel
The first stop is the magnificent Odessa Opera and Ballet Theater, one of the most beautiful theaters in Europe. You’ll learn about its dramatic history, admire the richly decorated façade, and take some beautiful photos. If the lobby is open, you might even peek inside to glimpse the opulent interior.
Next, you’ll enjoy a leisurely walk along Primorsky Boulevard, a leafy promenade that offers stunning views of the harbor. At the top of the iconic Potemkin Stairs, you’ll pause for a panoramic photo stop and hear why these stairs became world-famous, especially after their appearance in the classic film Battleship Potemkin.
Continuing through the historical center, you’ll visit the statue of Duke de Richelieu — the French nobleman who became one of Odessa’s founding fathers. You’ll also pass by the City Hall and other architectural gems from the city’s early days.
Around noon, you’ll step into the Passage — a lavish 19th-century shopping arcade that feels like a miniature palace. From there, you’ll stroll down Deribasovskaya Street, Odessa’s lively main street filled with charming cafés, flower stalls, musicians, and local energy. It’s a great place to feel the city’s rhythm.
We'll drive to the Arcadia district, Odessa’s modern seaside resort area. There, we’ll stop for lunch at Chernomorka, a beloved local seafood restaurant right by the sea. You can enjoy fresh fish, mussels, shrimp, or traditional dishes like fish soup, all while taking in the sound of the waves and the relaxing breeze from the Black Sea. After lunch, you’ll have time to walk along Arcadia’s beachfront promenade, explore some of the nearby attractions, or simply relax with a coffee or dessert at a seaside café.
