We will drive back to Playa Blanca a beautiful, tranquil beach on Costa Rica’s Central Pacific coast, known for its calm waters and lush surroundings. It’s a perfect spot for a peaceful beach day or a short getaway from Jaco. Ideal for swimming, paddleboarding, and kayaking, thanks to the gentle waves. You might spot sloth's, scarlet macaws, and iguanas in the surrounding forest.
Tárcoles is renowned for its traditional fishing community, where local fishermen use small boats and sustainable methods passed down through generations. You can visit the Tárcoles Fishing Cooperative (CoopeTárcoles R.L.), which promotes responsible fishing practices and sells fresh, locally caught seafood. Seafood lovers: The town is known for its fresh catches, including snapper, corvina, and shrimp.
