Discover the Pati Valley on an unforgettable 3-day adventure in the heart of Chapada Diamantina, considered one of the most beautiful trekkings in Brazil.

During the crossing, you will walk through spectacular trails, stunning viewpoints, immense valleys and crystal clear waterfalls. The tour is conducted by experienced local guides who know the region deeply and share the stories, curiosities and culture of the Pati Valley.

We work with small groups to ensure a quieter, safer and more personalized experience. The nights are in houses of residents of the Vale itself, with delicious homemade food and an authentic contact with the local community.

To ensure the best experience, the tour takes place with a minimum of 2 participants. If the minimum number is not reached on the chosen date, we offer the option of remarking or we will return 100% of the amount paid.

Itinerary

    Day 1

    Transfer to GUINE - Mirante do Pati - Cachoeiras

    Mirante do Pati

    Our starting point will be Lençóis, from where we will leave at 7am towards the settlement of Guinea (about 2 hours by car). There begins the walk: a trail that already begins with a challenge, the rise of the Aleixos, about 1 hour of aclive that rewards us with incredible views. After the climb, we will walk through the beautiful Gerais of Rio Preto, with right to a refreshing bath in the river before reaching the Mirante do Pati, one of the most prominent sights of the expedition. After a picnic lunch served at the top, we follow an exciting descent to the Altina Waterfall, where a dive closes the day with a golden key. In the evening, homemade dinner in the house of local residents, under a starry sky that looks like a movie scene.

    Castle hill and Funil waterfall

    Morro do Castelo

    After an enhanced regional breakfast, we set out early for Morro do Castelo, one of the highest and most challenging points of trekking. The climb is demanding, but rewarded by arriving at the Grotta da Lapinha, an impressive cave located at the top of the hill. We continue bypassing the top of the Morro until we reach two viewpoints with panoramic views of the Valley, where we will take a break for lunch like a picnic, with a breathtaking view. We then started the descent and ended the day with a relaxing bath in the Cachoeira do Funil before returning to the native's home for another night of rest.

    Waterfall above + Exit from the valley and return to Lençóis

    On the last day of the expedition, after breakfast, we departed towards the view of Cachoeirão above, one of the postcards of Chapada Diamantina. With up to 20 waterfalls in rainy seasons and a height of 300 meters, it is one of the most impactful visuals of the trip. After contemplating the landscape and having a snack on the spot, we follow the return trail through the Rio Preto Gerais to the settlement of Guinea, where our transport will be waiting for us. From there, we continue back to Lençóis, with arrival scheduled for 19h.
