Our tour begins in one of the most charming monuments of the city, the Cathedral of Porto.
Crossing the famous Aliados Avenue, surrounded by a vast architectural complex with Art Nouveau and Art Deco façades, we will continue our tour towards the São Bento Railway Station - Its tile panels tell the history of the North of Portugal through dazzling blue and white tiles.
Cross the iconic D. Luís I Bridge, built by one of the disciples of Gustav Eiffel
Have the opportunity to visit a Wine Cellar and learn all about the winemaking process that has lasted for centuries. A Port Wine tasting is included.

    Sao Bento Railway Station

    Enter this train station and observe its twenty thousand painted tiles to discover the history of Portugal. The corner stone was unveiled in 1900 by king Carlos I on the site of the former convent S. Bento de Avé Maria (Saint Benedict of Hail Mary). The initial project was designed by architect Marques da Silva with its external lines demonstrating then contemporary French influences.

    On the 17th December 1921, an establishment called Elite café opened for business in Porto. It was located in Santa Catarina street, a pedestrian walkway or shopping and for the finest members of society, then and now. This café enlightened the street with its Art Nouveau decoration.
