TOPTour Itinerary:
Our guide and driver will pick you up from the hotel lobby at 8:00am. Drive 1.5 hours to Mutianyu Great Wall. Mutianyu Great Wall has much more watchtowers than normal Great Wall. Altogether, you will find 22 watchtowers on this 1.4 mile stretch of Wall. Fortifications were as well constructed over the both sides of the Great Wall. It also has inner and out barriers that are crenelated with merlons. This was so shots could be fired at attackers on both sides - an extremely unique and fascinating characteristic of the Great Wall, which presents the strategic military value. If you need to get to the highest point, cable car is a good choice (optional).
before the great wall travelers have 45 minutes to have a short visit of Jade Carving Factory. The jade carving is very famous special local product, it was not only the excellent skill on carving, but also mixes many Chinese traditional cultures in the jade carving.

After lunch, transfer back to Beijing city. Visit the Summer Palace, the Summer Palace is known as the Gardens of Nurtured Harmony, it has been included in World Heritage List in December 1998. It stated that the Summer Palace "a masterpiece of China landscape garden layout. Natural landscape of hills and open water is along with man-made features like pavilions, halls, palaces, temples and bridges to create a harmonious ensemble of remarkable aesthetic value"

This section of the Wall is renowned for its scenic beauty and historical significance, boasting more watchtowers than other sections. You will find 22 watchtowers along this 1.4-mile stretch, with fortifications on both sides of the Wall.     Temple of Heaven

    Temple of Heaven Located in the southern part of Beijing, the Temple of Heaven boasts stunning deep blue glazed-tile roofs and platforms made of white marble slabs. Each of the three platforms consists of three tiers, making a total of nine tiers—nine symbolizing heaven in Chinese cosmology. The precise number and layout of every slab are meticulously designed according to ancient cosmological principles. You'll also have the chance to marvel at traditional Chinese silk artworks. China is renowned for producing some of the finest silk fabrics in the world, prized for their luxurious appearance and feel that no other material can match.     The Lama Temple, Old Beijing Hutong, Panda House

    Lama Temple (Yonghegong)

    friendly English guide will meet you at your hotel at 8:00 AM (or at your preferred time). Today we are going to visit the Lama Temple. Located in the northeast corner of Beijing city, in 1694 during the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, he built a mansion here and bestowed upon his fourth son Yinzhen, That is the later Yongqin Palace. In 1725, the imperial palace was renamed as the Yonghe Palace. Due to the birth of Emperor Qianlong, the son of Yin Zhen, in this place, two emperors emerged from the Yonghe Palace, becoming the "Dragon Hidden Blessing Land". So the palace is made of yellow tiles and red walls, with the same specifications as the Forbidden City and the Imperial Palace. In 1744, during the ninth year of the Qianlong reign, Yonghe Temple was converted into a lama temple. Yonghe lama Temple was the highest standard Buddhist temple in China during the mid to late Qing Dynasty.
