    Home of the famous alebrijes: colorful hand-carved wooden figures decorated with traditional Zapotec designs. Visit local workshops where the figures are hand-carved from wood and meticulously painted with bright colors. • Watch the artisans at work, learn about the symbolism behind the designs. We will be here for about one hour. Transportation to the next stop will take about 50 minutes and is possible to stop for lunch
