Start your adventure at 9:00 am in Munich and drive with your guide to the Zugspitze, Germany’s highest peak at 2,962 meters on the Bavarian–Austrian border. Begin with a scenic ride on the cogwheel train to Eibsee, a crystal-clear alpine lake at 1,000 meters. Take time to enjoy the view, capture photos of the Zugspitze reflected in the water, or simply stroll along the lakeshore. In summer, you may hike the 5 km circular trail around the lake or rent a boat to experience the scenery from the water; in winter, the frozen lake and snow-covered forest create a fairytale atmosphere.

Continue your journey with a cable car ride up to the summit of the Zugspitze. From the viewing platforms, you can see across four countries and admire the dramatic Alpine panorama. On clear days, the blue and green tones of Eibsee sparkle far below like a gem. In winter, the glacier area offers opportunities for skiing, while year-round you can relax at mountain restaurants serving Bavarian specialties. Please note: weather in the Alps can change quickly, so bring warm clothing and rain protection. Sun protection is also recommended at high altitude. Some visitors may feel mild effects of the altitude, so take your time and rest if needed. Whether in summer or winter, this tour promises unforgettable mountain and lake views at the very top of Germany.
