☆08:30 Depart for Heidelberg. It has the oldest university in Germany and one of the longest pedestrian streets in Europe. It has beautiful fountains, elegant residential buildings, etc. The world-famous Cathedral of the Holy Spirit is also located here. ☆09:30 Arrive in Heidelberg , take the Funicular Railway to [Heidelberg Castle]. After visiting the castle, you can also enjoy the unique beauty in the castle garden. 【Optional】Heidelberg Castle Ticket 11€ per pax (Includes use of the Funicular Railway, Courtyard, Great Tun, German Apothecary Museum)
☆11:00 After the tour of the castle, visit the [Old Bridge]. This Baroque stone bridge was built in 1788 and spans the Neckar River, a tributary of the Rhine. Don’t forget to touch the right hand of the bronze monkey statue beside the bridge for good luck while admiring the scenic view of the castle.
☆11:30 Visit Market Square, where you will find the Hercules Fountain in the center, the City Hall on the south side, and the [Church of the Holy Spirit (Heiliggeistkirche)] on the west side. Inside the church, there are stained-glass windows depicting the tragedy of the Hiroshima atomic bombing.
☆12:00 Lunch time. ☆13:00 Drive to visit Rüdesheim, a charming wine town along the Rhine River, famous for its vineyards, half-timbered houses, and rich winemaking tradition. It offers a delightful mix of history, culture, and scenic beauty, making it a popular destination for visitors. Visit[Drosselgasse], a lively, narrow alley in Rüdesheim, known for its cozy wine taverns, traditional German music, and vibrant atmosphere.
☆15:30 Take a Rhine River cruise(Optional:12 € per pax) and disembark in the small town of Assmannshausen. You can see the Rheinstein Castle on the other side from the disembarkation point, and then return to France. (The boat is open from March 30th to October 20th every year. At other times, drive directly to Assmannhausen for sightseeing) ☆16:00 Return to Frankfurt. ☆17:00 Arrived in Frankfurt, the trip ends.
