Journey through the soul of France on a private tour that seamlessly blends Impressionist art, medieval wonders, and royal opulence. Unlike large bus tours that rush through the coast, this private business van offers the intimacy and flexibility to truly breathe in the salt air of Étretat and the floral scents of Giverny. We take you from the "8th Wonder of the World" at Mont Saint-Michel to the battlefield echoes of Omaha Beach, concluding with the majestic châteaux of the Loire. With a professional guide at your side, every logistics detail is handled, leaving you free to live your own French fairy tale.
Your exciting journey begins with a pickup from your hotel, the airport, or the train stationin Munich. To ensure the best possible experience, we recommend booking a flight or train that arrives before 9:00 AM.
Go to [Giverny Town], visit [Claude Monet's House and Gardens - Giverny] (Claude Monet's House and Gardens - Giverny is open to the public only from April 1st to November 1st. In winter, the itinerary will be adjusted), and pursue the inspiration of the Impressionist master in the courtyard and water lily pond.
Next, we head to Étretat, a seaside town in northwestern Normandy famous for the Falaise d'Etretat (Elephant Trunk Hill). It earned its nickname from the legendary French author Guy de Maupassant, who famously compared the arched cliff to an elephant’s trunk dipping into the sea.
Afterward, we arrive at Honfleur, a picturesque fishing port brimming with artistic charm. With its colorful harbor-side houses, sailboats docked at the pier, quaint narrow streets, and historic half-timbered buildings, every corner is a postcard-worthy moment.
After breakfast, we head to Omaha Beach, the site of the most intense fighting during the Normandy Landings. The Allied forces suffered immense casualties here, with over 2,500 soldiers killed in action, earning it the somber nickname "Bloody Omaha."
We then visit Pointe du Hoc, a strategic 30-meter-high cliff located about 6.4 kilometers from Omaha Beach. As the highest point between Omaha and Utah Beaches, it was a crucial Allied landing site and the location where some of the first shots of the D-Day invasion were fired.
In the afternoon, we continue to the breathtaking Mont Saint-Michel (Abbey Entrance Included). Anyone who has seen a photo of this "wonder of the sea" is instantly moved by its ethereal beauty. Revered as the "8th Wonder of the World," Mont Saint-Michel is the third most important Catholic pilgrimage site, following only Jerusalem and the Vatican.
Go to [Loire Valley] and visit the "Castle de la Mujeres" [Château de Chenonceau] (no entrance) across the Cher River, which is the best place for filming in the Loire Valley.
Then come to [Chambord] (ticket included) to experience the grandeur of the French royal castle and the beauty of Renaissance architecture.
Next, we proceed to the Palace of Fontainebleau (Admission Included). Built in the 12th century, it is the only royal and imperial castle to have been inhabited for over seven centuries. It served as a residence for French monarchs from Francis I to Napoleon III, and its architectural style beautifully preserves elements of Medieval, Renaissance, and Classical influences. Finally, we return to Paris to conclude our wonderful journey. (Drop-off is available at your Paris hotel, the airport, or the train station.)
