At 9:00 AM, your journey begins with a private pickup from your London hotel, airport, or train station. Your first stop is Windsor Castle (*Admission Included). As a principal residence of the British Royal Family, the castle stands as a symbol of solemnity and architectural elegance. Inside, you will explore the magnificent State Apartments, admire world-class art collections, and witness the opulent royal furnishings. Wandering through the castle’s historic corridors, you will feel the seamless blend of heritage and modern royalty.
Next, we travel to Stonehenge (*Admission Included) to explore this enigmatic prehistoric monument. You will have the chance to marvel at the scale and mysterious alignment of these ancient megaliths.
Finally, we head to the UNESCO World Heritage city of Bath, Britain’s most famous thermal spa town. Here, we will visit the Roman Baths (*Admission Included) and admire the architectural grandeur of the Royal Crescent and The Circus(exterior visit only). Many of Bath’s most spectacular buildings were designed by John Wood, the Elder and the Younger. Their innovative use of circular and crescent-shaped squares to arrange townhouses became a major architectural trend, profoundly influencing the urban planning of both London and Edinburgh.
After breakfast, we depart for Oxford University, the oldest university in the English-speaking world and the second-oldest surviving university globally. Oxford is a true "university city," where the academic colleges and the town itself are seamlessly intertwined. The city preserves architectural styles from every period of British history; walking through its narrow lanes feels like a journey back in time.
Next, we visit Blenheim Palace (*Admission Included), also known as the Churchill Estate. This grand residence is the ancestral home of the Dukes of Marlborough and the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. It holds the unique distinction of being the only non-religious, non-royal country house in England to hold the title of "Palace." A masterpiece of English Baroque architecture, the estate perfectly integrates pastoral landscapes, formal gardens, and courtyards, exuding an air of unparalleled prestige. In 1987, it was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site.
After breakfast, we depart for the historic city of Canterbury to discover the ancient Canterbury Cathedral (exterior visit only). With a history dating back to the 6th century, this is the site where the Roman monk Augustine established Christianity in England. You will have time to freely explore the city center, the ancient city walls, and the city's major historical landmarks.
Next, we head to the world-famous White Cliffs of Dover, one of Britain's most iconic coastal landmarks. Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the cliff-top paths, where you can take in the breathtaking views and experience the magnificent scale of the cliffs overlooking the English Channel.
