Cooking is an art, but pastry is a science, and we will follow recipes step by step. In our classes you’ll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on relaxed environment led by our professional chef instructors. You will be standing, cooking and working for most of the class so please bring comfortable shoes.

The meeting point is located in the heart of Lisbon’s Estefânia neighborhood- a quiet part of town that is safe yet central. Just a 10 minute walk from the Saldanha metro station, where the red line and yellow lines meet, we’re only a short subway ride away from nearly any point in the city.

What to expect

It is a 2h hands-on class, where you will learn how to make the famous and delicious Pastéis de Nata! We believe that one of the secrets of the Pastel de Nata is the crunchy puff pastry, so we will teach you and do it from scratch! We will work with domestic appliances and equipment that you have at home, so you may replicate the recipe at home. During the class, we will tell you all the secrets and history behind the recipe. In the end we will eat everything paired with coffee, tea or juice.
