  From Zocodover, we will walk to the Alcázar of Toledo, a fortress that has witnessed numerous historical events, including the Spanish Civil War. Plus, from the esplanade, you’ll be treated to a breathtaking panoramic view of the city.

  We’ll make a brief stop in front of the Church of the Jesuits, where I’ll explain its Baroque architecture and historical significance in Toledo. Just like with the Alcázar, we won’t go inside, but you’ll discover the history and symbolism behind its exterior.

  We continue our tour to the Church of Santo Tomé, a prominent example of Mudejar architecture in Toledo. Famous for housing El Greco’s renowned painting The Burial of the Count of Orgaz, this church is a must-see for art lovers. During the stop, I will tell you about the church’s history, its origins, and the context behind this masterpiece. Although we won’t go inside to view the painting, the church’s exterior and its historical significance are equally fascinating.

  We continue through the picturesque Jewish Quarter of Toledo, a maze of narrow, charming streets. From a viewpoint, we’ll enjoy stunning panoramic views of Toledo, where you can capture incredible photos and admire the city from a unique angle. Here, I will tell you about the history of the Jewish community and its contributions to the medieval city.

  Catedral Primada de Toledo

  The highlight of this tour will be our visit to the Primatial Cathedral, one of Spain’s greatest architectural treasures. Here, I’ll have the privilege of guiding you through its breathtaking interior. Together, we will admire the majestic Gothic nave, the main altar, and the artworks that adorn its chapels. I will lead you through the cathedral’s most notable features, sharing the fascinating history and deep religious significance of this monumental building.
