Arusha National Park, just a short drive from Arusha, is a hidden gem with diverse landscapes, from lush montane forests to savannahs and Momella Lakes. Dominated by Mount Meru, the park offers breathtaking views and wildlife. On a day trip, explore different ecosystems and spot giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, warthogs, and antelope. The park is home to primates like blue monkeys, vervet monkeys, and black-and-white colobus monkeys. Over 400 bird species, including flamingos and African fish eagles, live in the park. The trip begins with a scenic 1.5-2 hour drive from Moshi, offering views of rural landscapes and Mount Meru.
