Join us for a hands-on bento-making experience at your host’s home! Your local host will guide you through the process of selecting the freshest seasonal ingredients, including the day’s catch from the nearby fishing port and produce from local farmers. You’ll also learn time-honored techniques and insider tips for creating healthy, delicious, and nutritious bento boxes.

As this is a private activity, we can tailor the menu to your specific dietary preferences, including allergies, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal, and more.

What to expect

Enjoy making bento box in a traditional Japanese home setting.
We will start the tour by visiting local markets (including a super market) , shopping for the ingredients while learning about the local and seasonal products.
