Prepare for an unforgettable adventure! After a picturesque one-hour drive, we will arrive at a breathtaking destination where you’ll have the unique opportunity to spend an hour walking among the charming Gentoo penguins. As the second-largest penguin species in the Falkland Islands, Gentoos are known for their friendly curiosity—don’t be surprised if they waddle up to greet you. This once-in-a-lifetime experience allows you to observe these remarkable birds in their natural habitat, alongside other native bird species and, on occasion, distant sightings of sea mammals. Be sure to have your camera ready—you’ll find yourself capturing countless photos of the stunning landscape and creating lasting memories from this extraordinary encounter.
Upon departing the Jetty Centre, we will drive past some of the key landmarks in the city, including the historic Christ Church Cathedral, the Whalebone Arch, the 1982 Liberation Monument, and a private whalebone collection. Each site provides a unique perspective, offering a captivating blend of natural beauty and local history to enrich your journey.
