Wat Phra That Doi Suthep-Chiang Mai’s six-century-old landmark temple perched on the mountain top.

Inside the temple grounds, you will witness and listen to the monks’ morning chanting and meditation. Afterwards, you can take a lotus flower, candle, and incense to pay respect to the Buddha’s relic enshrined in the golden pagoda, walking around it three times to make your personal blessings and wishes.
A short walk will take you to the viewpoint overlooking Chiang Mai city and the surrounding valley, Amazing sunrise from this spot in the clear mornign.

Next, join local people in giving alms to the monks. At the end of the ritual, the monks will offer a blessing in return. Khaosoi or Padthai will be breakfast.

    To visit Wat Prathat Doi Suthep. Challenge yourself with a walk up the iconic 306-step Naga Staircase to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep—Chiang Mai’s six-century-old landmark temple perched on the mountain top. Inside the temple grounds, you will witness and listen to the monks’ morning chanting and meditation. Afterwards, you can take a lotus flower, candle, and incense to pay respect to the Buddha’s relic enshrined in the golden pagoda, the most respected of temple,walking around it three times to make your personal blessings and wishes. A short walk will take you to the viewpoint overlooking Chiang Mai city and the surrounding valley. From November to April, you can also enjoy an amazing sunrise from this spot. Next, join local people in giving alms to the monks. At the end of the ritual, the monks will offer a blessing in return. Then, we walk down from the temple to enjoy the local breakfast as Khaosoi or Padthai at the base.
