Our expert guides will lead you through some of the most stunning landscapes of Colorado, Arizona, and Utah allowing you to immerse yourself in nature while we take care of your gear, food, water, and transportation.

What to expect

This hiking trip offered on Aug 11 - Aug 14th is perfect for those seeking a more relaxed hiking and camping experience compared to what's offered on our Colorado Trail trips. Since we won’t be moving camp each day, you can truly immerse yourself in the beauty around you at a comfortable pace. With the option to adjust the hiking distances each day, this trip caters to both adventurous spirits and those looking to take it easier—making it ideal for couples with different preferences.

Set against the stunning backdrop of the San Juan Mountains, our base camp is conveniently located near Purgatory Ski Area on the north side of Durango. Our camp features all the modern amenities you desire, including a fully equipped kitchen (although we do all the cooking), a cozy guest tent with a living room-style area to unwind, a refreshing shower tent for post-hike rinse off, and a restroom for your comfort. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to explore the great outdoors!
