Your adventure begins around 8:30 AM with pickup and departure toward the peaceful Povoado de Cardosa. The journey takes approximately 50 minutes until reaching the calm and refreshing waters of the Rio Formiga, a perfect setting for one of the most relaxing and enjoyable experiences in the region.
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by a native guide who will accompany and assist you throughout the Boia Cross descent. Floating along the gentle current of the river, you will enjoy around one hour of pure tranquility, surrounded by lush vegetation, birdsong, and the serene beauty of Maranhão’s countryside.
After the flotation experience, the group returns to the same vehicle used in the morning for the trip back to Barreirinhas. The arrival is expected around 1:00 PM, allowing you to continue your day with unforgettable memories of this refreshing and peaceful river adventure.
