It is a 30 minute experience and depending on the time you are picked up from Hambantota Port, you can get the Udawalawe National Park Elephant Safari or the Elephant Orphanage experience. Udawalawe National Park Elephant Safari is 2 hours and 30 minutes and you can get the experience according to your taste. Here our excellent drivers will guide you and pick you up and drop you off from Hambantota Port. You can see a large number of elephants in the Udawalawe National Park Safari.     Udawalawa Elephant Orphanage

    Udawalawe National Park is a premier wildlife destination in Sri Lanka, renowned for guaranteed sightings of large wild elephant herds in their natural habitat. Located between Sabaragamuwa and Uva provinces, this 30,821-hectare park features dry zone grassland and scrub forest centered around the Udawalawe Reservoir, offering a safari experience often compared to East Africa. Elephants: Over 400 elephants reside here, often spotted in large herds. Other Wildlife: Leopards, water buffalo, crocodiles, sambar deer, spotted deer, monitor lizards, and wild boar. Birding: Abundant birdlife including eagles, hawks, and the endemic Sri Lankan junglefowl. Elephant Transit Home: An essential visit nearby to watch orphaned baby elephants being bottle-fed before being released into the wild.
