Begin your day with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Sofia at 9:00 AM. Relax in a private car as you make your way to Plovdiv, a journey of about 2 hours. Upon arrival, embark on a 2-hour walk in Plovdiv’s old town. Discover the city’s rich history, which spans Thracian, Roman, Byzantine, Medieval Bulgarian, Ottoman, Revival Bulgarian, and Soviet periods. Stroll through the old Revival houses from the 19th century, admire the Roman theater and stadium, and take in the views from Nebet Hill. Walk along the main street, officially the longest pedestrian street in Europe. After the tour, you will have 1.5 hours for a lunch break in a great local restaurant, which will be recommended by your host.
After lunch, you will have a 30-minuted drive to the nearby village of Markovo, where you can visit the unique retro car museum, with its amazing collection of more than 70 models! At around 4:00 PM, begin your journey back to Sofia, arriving at your hotel by 6:00 PM.
