Your tour begins with a comfortable 20-minute minibus ride from the cruise port through the scenic outskirts of Stanley. Upon arrival at Yorke Bay, you’ll take a gentle 5-minute walk through picturesque sand dunes with sweeping views of the coast. At the beach, you'll visit a thriving colony of Gentoo penguins, where you’ll have around an hour to watch and photograph these curious, comical birds in their natural habitat. Keep an eye out — King Penguins and playful dolphins are sometimes spotted in the area too! Your knowledgeable local guide will share fascinating facts about the penguins, wildlife behavior, and island ecology, making this more than just a sightseeing stop.
