You will be picked up at 7:30 AM for a prompt departure at 7:45 AM. Please provide us with your hotel name while booking for the pick-up.
You’ll be picked up from your hotel and taken to Wat Damnak in Siem Reap, where your guide will help you select and set up your bicycle. After a brief tour introduction, you’ll embark on your adventure, starting with a short ride through the streets of Siem Reap before heading off the beaten path to explore the countryside.
Cycle through picturesque villages in the countryside that are often overlooked by most visitors. Pause in a quaint village to take a break and learn about the local way of life. As you ride through, you’ll be greeted by friendly villagers waving hello. Engage with the locals and immerse yourself in the lush surroundings, experiencing a side of Siem Reap that many miss. Continue along the dirt roads and visit local farms to gain a deeper understanding of how the community sustains itself.
Next, we’ll head to a small local market, offering an authentic glimpse into the daily life of the community. Please note that the market is only open in the morning, so we’ll visit during this time to experience it at its most lively. To complete the experience, we’ll visit one of the most beautiful pagodas in the area. There, our guide will explain the connection between Buddhism and Hinduism and how deeply these religions are woven into the fabric of daily life in Cambodia.
Our last stop will be at the tranquil lotus farm in Siem Reap, where you can unwind and enjoy the beauty of the vibrant lotus flowers. Take a moment to relax with some refreshing soft drinks while soaking in the peaceful surroundings. Afterward, we’ll head back to the starting point, concluding a memorable day of exploration.
