Casa Seminario was built over what used to the ceremonial center dedicated to the deity of Tezcatlipoca in the Aztec city of Tenochtitlan. In 1988 it was acquired by it current owners in a total state of disrepair and subsequently brought back to life through a long and grueling process of restoration that took four years to complete. Nowadays, it stands as the oldest colonial mansion in Mexico City, granting it a special place as a part of the cultural heritage of the city and the historic centre.
Over the course of the visit, we will talk about it's long and riveting history, while we admire elements of its colonial architecture. Finally, we will arrive at the terrace, where we'll sit down and enjoy a cocktail while taking in the beautiful view of Mexico City's Historic Centre.
